DESCRIPTION OF THE PATOLOGY

Vertigo is a feeling of giddiness, a sensation of whirling, a sort of tendency to fall, accompanied by fits of vacillation, by staggering, tottering and loss of equilibrium. There are also circulatory disturbances, state of anxious agitation and neurovegetative distony.

In some cases, unless there is a support available nearby, the subject has also a fall, normally lateral in the so-called labyrinth vertigo.
